The last couple of days MV EVER GIVEN has become the most notorious vessel within the world. With a staggering estimated 340.000.000 USD per hour economical damages, many people worldwide are concerned about their cargo (whether on board MV EVER GIVEN or other vessels).

Many of our clients have already expressed their concerns and we can only assume many shipping agents and freight forwarders have been stalked over the past couple of days with regard to the whereabouts of their cargo.

Following such massive interest, MarineTraffic has massively improved visibility in the area in order to allow everyone interested to follow up the SUEZ situation with MV EVER GIVEN. The application, already used by thousands of professionals within the shipping business for years, allows interested parties to see vessels position captured by satellites and its terrestrial AIS station network.

By using the Marinetraffic app or desktop version, people can check the positions of vessels in the area. For more information, you can click on the following link live map
